Hi everybody!

I made a list for B2 certification test that might be useful for you for C1 test. I have copied my handwrite list into a word document, just in case it was difficult for you to understand it. If you find any mistakes, please, let me know. I hope Aurora can find time to have a look at it and check it.

You were all splendorous in the pictures!!!!!!! I missed my dear "desk mate" Aurelio. Where was him?

See you next Monday, let´s see if we can arrange a new meeting.

Love from Santiago del Teide...

USEFUL TIPS FOR CERTIFICATION

1. Check all the previous writing tips - the ones I gave you, the ones on the Student's Book and the ones on the eWorkbook - and your own writings:

a job application

a story

an essay

a review

a report

an email

an argument

an article

a proposal

a news report
- see the entry below!

2. Be confident: your English is superb!!! :)

3. I know it's 'easier said than done', but try to relax in the speaking test and be your usual charming self. The examiners will appreciate it.

4. Please feel free to add any other tips you deem useful.

NEWS REPORT

Should answer the questions:

1. Who is the story about?
2. What happened?
3. Why did it happen?
4. Where did it happen?
5. When did it happen?
6. What is the situation now?

Should include 4 paragraphs:

1. Introductory statement. It explains – in one sentence, if it’s the short task - what happened.
2. More information about the background to the story.
3. Quotes. They give someone’s opinion)
4. Concluding statement. It gives us information about the current situation.
